People-to-People Exchange in Accounting
Talent Training Project
In order to promote people-to-people exchange in accounting, further cultivate the accounting profession and international talent of "the Belt and Road" countries and regions, and build an innovative platform for the integration of accounting and industry-university-research, the Research Institute of International People-to-People Exchange in Accounting, and the Chinese Learning Center of Hainan University & Royal Agricultural University of Cambodia jointly present the Belt and Road Initiative Training Program for Accounting Cultural Exchange Talents. This program was successfully selected into the education aid program of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 2021. Enrollment is now available globally.
Prospective Targets. Accounting practitioners and students from Belt and Road Initiative countries and regions. This is a national foreign aid and public works training program. It is open-ended and can be registered globally.
Training Method. The method of instruction will be online, in English.

About the Session Leaders
黄文楷于1987年加入毕马威香港审计服务部。他目前是毕马威中国区副主席兼毕马威华南区首席合伙人，主管广东，福建，湖南，海南，云南，贵州，江西，澳门等地区办事处的审计，税务和咨询业务。黄文楷过往曾为大型中国国企、民企和跨国性公司提供审计服务，当中包括在香港、美国、英国和中国内地的上市公司。他从1999年开始专注为中国内地公司、跨国公司和私募基金提供投资并购及重组等咨询服务，协助客户投资中国境内及境外业务及资产，当中涉及高新科技、零售消费品、工业制品、能源、汽车、房地产及大健康等行业，所涉国家包括美国、澳洲、英国、德国、法国、泰国、意大利、西班牙、新加坡、香港、澳门、印度 、马来西亚、新加坡、泰国、日本等。 此外，在1999年至2022年，黄先生参与非银行金融机构广东国际信托投资公司的破产清算工作，处理了大量债务追收、资产及公司股权变现及清算，债权人清偿个案。黄文楷是海南大学管理学院客座教授，广东省商务厅委任的广东省全球招商顾问， ACCA中国专家智库成员。
Ricky Wong joined KPMG Hong Kong audit practice in 1987. He is now the Vice Chairman of KPMG China and the Senior Partner of KPMG Southern China, managing Audit, Tax and Advisory businesses in KPMG offices in Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Hainan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Jiangxi and Macao regions. Ricky has in the past provided audit services to large PRC state-owned enterprises, privately owned enterprises and multinational companies, including companies listed in Hong Kong, US, UK and China. Since 1999, Ricky focused on providing mergers and acquitions advisory services to PRC companies, multinational companies and private equity firms, assisting clients investing in business and assets in China and overseas, involving industries such as high-tech, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, energy, auto, real estate and healthcare and life science, and involving regions such as US, Australia, UK, Germany, France, Thailand, Spain, Singapore, HK, Macao, India, Malaysia, Japan, etc. During 1999 to 2022, Ricky involved in the liquidation work of Guangdong International Trust and Investment Company Limited (a non-bank financial institution), in which he has handled a large number of cases involving debt recovery, asset and equity shares realisation, creditor distributions. Ricky is the Guest Professor of Management School of Hainan University, Guangdong Province Global Trade Promotion Advisor appointed by Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, ACCA Professional Expert Forum Member.
Patrick is the National Head of ESG Reporting and Assurance and an audit partner at KPMG China. He is also National Head of Mining and Industrial Manufacturing audit lead partner. Patrick has broad experience in providing audit and advisory services to domestic and multinational corporations in China. Patrick mainly works with Energy and National Resources, Automotive and major multinational corporations (industrial manufacturing) clients. He also has extensive experience in overseas IPO and other capital market transaction projects. Patrick is an experienced professional in the sustainability and environmental field. He leads sustainability assignments across a range of sectors, namely power & utilities, real estates and transport and he also completed the green bond issuance assignment in China in early 2016 which was the first one of its kind in China.
高凤敏女士于1998年担任加拿大特许专业会计师协会（CPA Canada）中国区执行理事至今，她同时担任CPA Canada教育项目外教，海南大学、宁波大学MPAcc项目职业导师，曾任教于清华大学，对外经济贸易大学，上海财经大学，中山大学，暨南大学等，致力于为中国高校会计专业培养具有国际视野、高道德标准的领军人才。
Barbara Ko has served as the Executive Director of Techscien Professional Education Institute, the China representative of Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada) since 1998. She has also served as an instructor and advisor for CPA Canada’s various education programs, a career mentor of the MPAcc program of Hainan University, and has taught at Tsinghua University, University of International Economics and Business, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Sun Yat-sen University, Jinan University, and other well regarded institutions throughout China. Ms. Ko has long been committed to an international vision and high ethical standards to educate future talents in accounting in Chinese universities.
With over 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Ko has worked as an executive at the Royal Bank of Canada and Deloitte Canada, engaging in auditing and tax consulting. In the 1990s, Ms. Ko served as a senior lecturer at the Open University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Science and Technology, and also undertook the development of financial accounting courses.
In 2015, at the invitation of the Ministry of Finance of China, Ms. Ko arranged a delegation of CPA Professional Leading Talents of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants to travel to Canada for training, and to participate in high level exchanges with their Canadian counterparts to create a positive impact on the development of China's accounting industry. Continuing on to the present day, Ms. Ko has continued to contribute to meaningful accounting industry exchanges between China and Canada.
高嘉鸿，CPA, CGA，COO, TPEI，高嘉鸿先生是加拿大金帆专业科技培训中心（TPEI）首席运营官，也是加拿大特许专业会计师协会培训项目中国地区教育总监。
Isaac Ko is the Chief Operating Officer of T.P.E.I. Training Canada, and the Director of Education of CPA Canada in China. He has been engaged in education research and practice in the field of accounting for many years, including case study methodology and professional training. He is familiar with and understands the cutting-edge development trends of the accounting industry, ESG and sustainable development, and the role of professional accountants in data analysis. He integrates well recognized business cases into professional accounting teaching and training for both undergraduate and graduate programs. He has more than 10 years of case teaching experience, and has taught undergraduate, postgraduate and overseas students from Nankai University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and others.
Wenting Xu holds a Doctor of Engineering Degree (Theory and Design of Landscape Architecture) from Harbin Institute of Technology, Deputy Dean of Art and Design School, Hainan University, Director of Hainan University-Royal University of Agriculture Chinese Learning Center, Top Talent of Hainan Province, China.
His research focuses on Chinese traditional culture and ideal landscape history and theory, landscape culture, and landscape planning and design for Tropical Area. He has published 15 academic papers, including 4 national Chinese core journals, 4 National science and Technology core journals, 4 national professional authoritative academic journals, and 1 CSSCI and 1EI indexed. He has presided one national Social Science Foundation Youth Project, one provincial Social Science Youth Project, and won two provincial excellent Instructors Awards.
Mr. Zhiqiang Yang graduated from the department of Foreign Languages, Tsinghua University with his BA and MA degrees and became a lecturer in the same department thereafter. He became affiliated with Beijing National Accounting Institute in 2000, participating in management of the foreign affairs, the Teaching and Research Center and the department of Graduate Education. Later, he became a full-time faculty member of the department of general education, when he continued with his postgraduate education and worked to get his EMBA and EdD aside from the routine teaching of English courses. His research interests focused on managerial communication skills, cross-cultural communication, enhancement of internationalization competency for senior accounting, auditing, tax, and financial professionals. He is the professor in charge for the “Practical Competency Enhancement Program for Professionals Engaged in Cross-border Businesses.”
Aaron Lau is Partner, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Asia-Pacific Financial Applications, Process & Analytics Leader, Greater China Digital Leader. He has over fourteen years of overseas and China local experience serving multinational and domestic companies. He is the Asia-Pacific Financial Applications, Process & Analytics Leader and Greater China FAAS Digital Leader. Aaron led various RPA projects across different functions, including those with a large scale of 100+ processes. He is advising client to establish a sustainable RPA operation, focused on strategy, governance model, operation and people.
Aaron is familiar with both IFRS and US GAAP, is experienced in Securities and Exchange Commission filings, including periodic reporting, initial public offerings and acquisitions.Before relocating to Beijing in 2011, he was with EY in Toronto with a focus on technology, entertainment, education and retail sector.
Xiaosong Zhang, PhD, is a Senior Economist. He was the first Chairman and President of China Great Wall Asset Management. Before that, he served as President and Vice President of China Great Wall Asset Management, Chairman of China Great Wall AMC (International) Holdings, and Chairman of Golden Bridge Financial Consulting. Prior to that, he was the general manager of business and credit departments at the headquarters of one of the largest banks in China. Earlier in his career, he worked as the general manager of international business department at a provincial branch and as a vice president of a city branch at the same bank. He also served as a deputy head of project evaluation at the World Bank.
Dr Zhang is a postgraduate research supervisor at Central University of Finance and Economics, Hainan University and Hebei Finance University. Previously he served as a visiting professor at China Agricultural University and Beijing Union University, as well as a doctoral supervisor at Dagong Credit.
Dr Zhang published seven books, including titles of Research on the Global Development Strategy for Chinese Financial Enterprises, Research on Rural Credit and Rural Economic Development, and Bank Credit Management. He also published over twenty papers in China core journals such as the Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Frontier Theories, Journal of Insurance Research and Journal of Rural Finance Research.
Dr Zhang received his PhD in Economics from Wuhan University in China.
Mr. Liang Liu is the deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department, and the vice dean of the School of International Education of Hainan University . He has long been engaged in the management and research of international cooperation and exchange in Hainan university, and has rich relevant experience.
